By using Muuree, you agree to these terms. We wrote them to be readable — not to hide anything.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Muuree (the editor at muuree.com/app, the website at muuree.com, and any related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using Muuree on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Description of service

Muuree is an editorial canvas for composing moodboards and visual concepts. It includes image search powered by third-party providers, an AI creative assistant, local-first storage, and (when enabled) cloud sync. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

3. Accounts

You may use Muuree without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@muuree.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.

4. Your content, your rights

You own everything you create on Muuree — your boards, compositions, comments, and uploads. We claim no ownership over your creative work.

By enabling cloud sync or sharing, you grant Muuree a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display your content solely as needed to provide the service to you and the collaborators you authorize. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload or add to Muuree, and that doing so does not infringe any third-party right.

You agree not to use Muuree to:

6. Image attribution and licensing

Images sourced via Unsplash, Pexels, or Pixabay are subject to each provider's license. Photographer attribution is automatically attached to images in the editor. You are responsible for complying with the applicable license terms when exporting, publishing, or distributing boards containing these images — including any attribution requirements imposed by the provider.

7. AI features

Ask Muuree uses third-party large language models (currently Groq/Llama, or a provider you configure). AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. Muuree makes no warranties about the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI suggestion before acting on it or publishing it. Prompts sent through the hosted free tier are processed by Groq — see our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Intellectual property

The Muuree name, wordmark, logo, brand identity, and the software that runs the editor are owned by Muuree and protected by applicable intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use Muuree's brand assets except as expressly permitted (e.g., in press coverage using the official Press Kit). All other uses require prior written permission.

9. Paid plans

Studio plan pricing and billing terms will be published when Studio launches. All fees are stated in USD, are non-refundable except as required by law, and may change with 30 days' notice to account holders. If you dispute a charge, contact hello@muuree.com before initiating a chargeback.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Muuree is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Muuree and its founder, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or profits — arising out of or related to your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $10. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded by law in your jurisdiction.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Muuree and its founder from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using Muuree at any time and delete your account from the profile panel in the editor. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these terms or behavior that poses a risk to the service or other users — generally with notice, immediately where the situation is serious. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; sections 4 (your ownership of content), 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, where Muuree's founder is based. For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence applies and cannot be waived by these terms. For users in the United States, claims must be brought in the courts of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and you waive any objection to that venue, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. Nothing here removes non-waivable rights you hold under the law of your jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will notify account holders by email and post a notice on this page at least 30 days before the new terms take effect. Continued use of Muuree after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
